May 2019 will be the 10th anniversary of the IVNA Congress. This is a momentous occasion for the association and one that PLH Medical Ltd is looking forward to celebrating!
Hosted at the beautiful Grand Hotel Malahide in Dublin, delegates can expect a specifically developed and comprehensive scientific programme. This includes multiple streams and practicals. For the first time ever, the IVNA Congress will be hosted over a three-day period with a two-day trade show.
The event will be kicked off on Friday the 24th of May. After which, delegates will enjoy a drinks reception with exhibitors during the opening ceremony. The Saturday programme focuses on matters of the mind to presentation management.
Throughout the event, delegates will have access to lots of entertainment, competitions and prizes. IVNA will also feature fantastic entertainment for their Veterinary Nurse Awards. This will be hosted at their social event on the Saturday evening during the gala dinner.
Sarah Cowan RVN Guest Speaker
The 10th Annual Congress brings an excellent range of guest speakers. These experienced veterinary professionals span a wide range of disciplines, bringing delegates up to date on the latest of information and expertise.
PLH Medical’s very own Sarah Cowan RVN will be joining the team of guest speakers and will be discussing dental radiography positioning and dental imaging equipment.
Having spent 13 years in both mixed and small animal practice in Ireland and the UK, Sarah Cowan joined PLH Medical in 2017. Sarah qualified from UCD in 2009. While in practice, Sarah developed a genuine interest in small animal veterinary dentistry. She achieved a Dental Leadership course developed and delivered by Pfizer Animal Health. She soon continued to concentrate on further dental-related CPD focusing on dental charting and radiography. Since joining PLH Medical, Sarah has developed a comprehensive range of dental training aids. She regularly trains both vets and nurses in dental radiography positioning techniques, as well as leading dental CPD events as a part of PLH Medical’s LearningHub CPD training.
